The Person Behind the Product
Forrest Coughtry isn't new to distribution — he's spent his entire career in it. He started on the ground floor as a merchandiser at Pepsi and Coca-Cola, stocking shelves and learning what actually moves product in stores. He worked his way up through Bang Energy during its massive growth phase, then took a startup beverage brand from zero accounts to hundreds of retail locations across multiple states.
Along the way, he acquired a struggling pastry distribution company and turned it into a thriving operation — proving he could not only sell, but build and scale a route-based business from scratch.
When Forrest and his wife moved to Billings, Montana, he saw an opportunity: local stores deserved a distributor who actually showed up, built great displays, and treated every account like it mattered. That's why he started Coughtry Wholesale.
This isn't a side hustle or a guy with a box truck. Forrest has years of hands-on distribution experience with some of the biggest brands in the country — and he brings that same level of professionalism to every store he serves in Montana.
